Biography
I am a third-year Ph.D. student in Data Science at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), jointly advised by Dr. Mengnan Du and Dr. Yingcong Li. Before joining NJIT, I received my M.S. degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology and my B.S. degree in Computer Science from China University of Geosciences, Wuhan.
My research centers on understanding and controlling LLMs through their internal representations. Driven by the idea that model internals hold vast amounts of unexploited structure, I am increasingly interested in extracting these internal signals to guide model training and alignment. On the application side, I work on domain adaptation and task specialization, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), query routing, and financial forecasting.
I am seeking a Summer 2027 internship and full-time opportunities starting in December 2027. Please get in touch if you know of relevant opportunities.
